Fmr President of All India Arecanut Growers Association Manchi Srinivasa Achar passes away

Bantwal: Manchi Srinivasa Achar, publisher of a magazine on arecanut, president of Farmer First Trust and former president of the All India Nut Growers Association passed away on August 29.

He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.

Recognized as a progressive farmer, Achar was active in social activism and in various organizations for the past three decades.
