Mangaluru: Clear schedule needed for reopening of schools says Khader

Mangaluru: MLA UT Khader stated that due to the apathetic approach of the State government towards the teachers’ community, the Congress decided to boycott the official Teachers’ Day celebrations.
He stated that the State government must come out with a clear timetable and the reduced syllabus as well as the guidelines on how to deliver the mid-day meals to children while the schools remain shut.
Khader further suggested that the government must provide interest-free loans to private schools to manage its operations.
He also alleged that the BJP government has not done anything for the Dakshina Kannada district while the Congress-JD(S) coalition made many improvements to Mangaluru under the Smart City Mission.
