Mangaluru: Youth Cong workers detained for illegal rally against farm bills

Mangaluru: Many leaders of the Youth Congress including the president of its Dakshina Kannada unit Mithun Rai were detained by police for organising a rally without permission.
The rally organised by the Youth Congress was to take place between Clock Tower at Hampnakatte and the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Police detained the leaders and workers when they had all gathered at the Clock Tower to start their rally and began chanting slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government.
