Hathras: Victim wasn’t raped, states FSL report; UP ADG says attempt to stir caste-based tension

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar citing the forensic report of Hathras gang rape victim said that the 19-year-old was not raped, and deliberate attempts were made to “stir caste-based tension”.

According to the FSL report, the victim died due to neck injury. No sperm has been found in the samples. Deliberate attempts has been made to twist the matter to stir caste-based tension. Such people will be identified and legal action will be taken,” the ADG told media agency ANI.
