Moodbidri: The city police open fired bullets in the air after the cattle traffickers attempted to scare the police by trying to collide their car into the police jeep.
The incident took place Shirthady on Sunday, October 11
Police after learning that the cows were being transported in a car, tried to stop the vehicle for checking, when the occupants of the car attempted to scare the police trying to collide the into the police jeep, Inspector Dinesh fired in the air.
During the incident two of the accused managed to escape leaving behind the car and cows.
