CM Jagan Reddy writes to CJI Bobde, makes serious allegations against sitting SC judge

New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to Chief Justice of India S A Bobde alleging that a senior judge of the Supreme Court, also in line to be the next CJI, was acting on behalf of the Telugu Desam Party and that his closeness to former CM Chandrababu Naidu was worrying, bringing the fairness of the institution into question.

The letter claims that the judge has also been influencing the sittings of the (Andhra Pradesh) High Court and requested CJI Bobde to look into the matter and ensure that the state judiciary’s neutrality is maintained.
