Mysore varsity to confer honorary doctorate on Sudha Murty

Bengaluru: The University of Mysore on Friday said it will confer an honorary doctorate on Infosys Foundation chairperson and author Sudha Murty during its centenary convocation, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 19.
“Honourable Chancellor has approved one candidate for an honorary degree. Sudha Murty, Chairperson of Infosys Foundation, will be conferred,” University Vice-Chancellor Professor G Hemanth Kumar told reporters in Mysuru.
He said Modi is scheduled to address the convocation digitally.
