Bantwal: Young man brutally murdered in broad daylight

Bantwal: An incident of a young man brutally attacked with lethal objects in broad daylight, killing the seriously injured man soon was reported from Guddeyangadi at Melkar near here on October 23.

The deceased has been identified as Chenna Farooq, a resident of Kaladka.

It was reported that he was a rowdy-sheeter and might have been murdered by someone he knows.

The recent stabbing of Farooq’s friend has also been attributed to Farooq’s murder.

The perpetrators arrived in a car in the evening and attacked Farooq. A seriously injured Farooq was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead.

Bantwal Circle Inspector TD Nagaraj and Sub Inspector Prasanna have arrived at the crime scene and are conducting an inspection.
