Puttur: Harassed by ex-boyfriend, girl ends life

Puttur: A 26-year-old lady committed suicide by jumping into a pond in Sampya here on Wednesday, October 28 afternoon.

The deceased, Manjushree left behind a note accusing her former boyfriend named Devikiran for driving her to take the extreme step.

A complaint in this regard was filed at Sampya police station by Manjushree’s uncle.

In the note, that was found written in her diary, Manjushree had alleged that Devikiran was mentally harassing her and giving life threat to her.

Police is investigating the case.
