Udupi: Before bringing in a law against Love Jihad, let the leaders check whom their children are having a love affair with and whom they have married. Whatever the party religion and love is an individual’s right in India and we do not want to interfere in it, said KPCC President DK Shivakumar here.
Speaking to reporters, he said that the change of Chief Minister and the expansion of the Cabinet are unrelated to them and hence they will not care about it.
Commenting on his statement of a video being the cause of chief minister’s political secretary Santosh’s suicide attempt, Shivakumar said that he has not spoken about the release of the video but the CM’s political secretary is not a street goer, his suicide attempt should be investigated.
“I know many of the works Santosh does, I only stated the information that I received. His wife too has complained about political pressure on him. Let them investigate the politics behind the case. Santosh would not attempt suicide for no reason. It could be to gain power or fame,” Shivakumar said.
