Bengaluru: Workers of the State’s transport corporations have decided to strike on December 11 demanding the fulfilment of various demands, including the consideration of transport workers as government employees.

On Thursday, December 10, thousands of employees of transport corporations staged a protest march to Vidhan Soudha but were stopped by police and many were detained.

Condemning this, the workers called for a strike on December 11.

On Friday morning passengers arriving at the bus stations without any information about the strike were frustrated and had to take autorickshaws and cabs to commute to work.

It was reported that buses have completely halted services from 8 am.
