K’taka COVID-19 update: 1222 new cases, 1039 discharges, 8 deaths on Dec 17

Bengaluru: On December 17, 1,222 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1,039 discharges and 8 virus-related deaths.

The total COVID-19 cases reported till date in the State has climbed to 9,07,123 out of which 15,380 cases are presently active and 11,989 dead.

223 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment in Intensive Care Units.

With 687 cases Bengaluru Urban district again reported the highest number of cases while all other districts reported less than 50 cases.
