Reportedly, the couple has been planning this tour since January and did research on the same, got in touch with various organizations, later confirming the routes.

The couple then got permission from every state and took the mandatory Covid-19 test before the ride, as well as in Manipur and Mizoram border. They even mentioned getting support from Lalbiaksangi,  Home secretary of Mizoram as the the lockdown rules were strict.

The couple rode around 700kms per day for about 13-16 hours and got sufficient rest. Sameera informed that they had started working out six months prior to the trip and had lost about 20kgs. Further adding she said that they relied heavily on energy bars and drinks and made sure that they were hydrated.
