Two mobile Covid-19 testing units to be set-up in Hampi

Ballari: With experts hinting at a possible second wave of COVID-19 in the coming days, the district administration has decided to dedicated mobile Covid-19 testing units and health team at world heritage site Hampi in Ballari.

A senior health official said, “Ballari is slowly moving towards becoming a Covid-free district, but there are still challenges. As many as 17 people have come to the district from the United Kingdom and one is still untraced. ”

The mobile testing units will be stationed at spots where tourist influx is higher and the health workers will conduct Rapid Antigen Tests. They will also take the swab samples if required.
