Gangavati: Father, son on scooter killed on spot after collision with bus

Gangavati: A father and son were killed when the scooter they were riding on collided with a bus on Monday evening in Jangamarakalgudi village in the taluk here.

The deceased have been identified as Hanumantha Nayak (32), and Pawan alias Praveenkumar.

The father and son duo were returning to Gangavati from Jangamarakalgudi village after meeting relatives when they collided with a KSRTC bus.

Kanakagiri MLA Dadhesuguru Basavaraj, who was travelling along the same route, stopped the traffic, called the police and helped transport the bodies to the hospital.
