Chamarajanagar: Seven physicians working in the district hospital here have tested positive for COVID-19. What is noteworthy is that four of them had received the COVID-19 vaccine recently.
The seven physicians, including the Nodal Officer of the COVID ward of the hospital, have tested positive in the past 7 days.
None of the seven are showing any major symptoms of COVID-19.
Only one among them is undergoing treatment in the hospital due to a child residing at their home. Rest six are in home isolation.
The infected Nodal Officer who had received the vaccination clarified that only after receiving the second dose of the vaccination does it show effect.
“Hence, those who have received the first dose of the vaccine should not be careless,” he added.
