Mangaluru: Gallons of water is draining away due to ruptured pipeline in front of St Aloysius higher primary school on Kudmul Ranga Rao Road.
It is said that water is flowing continuously for months but the area corporator and the water supply officials have failed to notice it.
Recently, the roadsides were concreted but the ruptured pipe was ignored. The officials did not bother to repair the pipe before the concrete work. Now, the concrete road will have to be dug to repair the pipeline
Also, as it is a concreted road, the water is not absorbed and the stagnated water has turned into a mosquito breeding spot.
Locals have urged the authorities to take appropriate action.
