A man has been arrested for allegedly abducting his ex-girlfriend after she refused to go on a surprise Valentine’s Day date with him in United States’s Phoenix in Arizona.
On February 10, the man identified as 20-year-old Isaiah Cuspard assaulted his ex-girlfriend, who is also the mother of his two children. Following this, he was detained but was released later.
The next day, he went to visit her house to convince her to take her out on a date.
After she refused to go out on a date with him, he hit her and forcefully took her in his car and drove away with at least 100 mph, the victim’s mother said, according to the Daily Mail report.
As the scene unfolded, the neighbours called the police and by the time the cops came to apprehend, he had crashed ahead.
The accused has now been arrested and he is being held in county jail on a $6,000 bond.
