11 IPS officers transferred by Karnataka Govt

Bengaluru: As many as 11 senior IPS officers were transferred by the government of Karnataka on Saturday.

The order from the Karnataka Government read that Secretariat IGP and Additional Commissioner of Police, East, Bengaluru City was transferred as IGP (Administration), Chief Office, Bengaluru to fill the vacant post, IGP, Karnataka Lokayukta, Bengaluru S. Murugan will take over as the IGP and Additional Commissioner of Police, East, Bengaluru from him.

DCP, Whitefield Division, Bengaluru, Abdul Ahad was transferred as the Superintendent of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru. M N Anucheth, who was serving as the Superintendent of Police in Railways will take over as the DCP of Whitefield, Bengaluru from Abdul Ahad.

S.N Siddaramappa, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Internal Security will now take charge as the Deputy Inspector General of Police Fire Services, Bengaluru to fill in the vacant post.

Abhinav Khare, SP of Bagalkot District was transferred as Commandant, 4th Battalion, Karnataka State Reserve Police, Bengaluru, Lokesh Bharamappa Jagalasar, SP Internal Security Division, Bengaluru was transferred as the Bagalkot District.

Dekka Kishore Babu, SP Internal Security Division Bengaluru was transferred as the DCP Law and Order, Kalaburagi. K G Devaraju, SP of Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru City was transferred as the SP of Haveri District and K Parashurama, SP of Haveri District was transferred as SP, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru City.

Dr. Sanjeev M Patil, SP of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Bengaluru was transferred as SP, Railways Bengaluru in place of M N Anuchet.
