30-year-old man killed after vehicle overturns during victory procession

Bantwal: A 30-year-old man died after a vehicle overturned at a celebration rally in the Golthamajalu area of Bantwal taluk on Wednesday, December 30.
The deceased has been identified as Naresh, a resident of Netla. The incident took place during the procession for winning candidates.
The winning candidates Deepak, Jagannath, Guruvappa, Suchitra, Nalini, and Yogesh were also hurt. They were transported to a hospital nearby.
A case in this regard has been registered with the Bantwal traffic police.
