400 H1N1 cases detected in Karnataka

Bengaluru: Around 400 people were diagnosed with Influenza-A (H1N1, also known as ‘swine flu’) in Karnataka state.
The maximum number of cases were reported in Bengaluru city (89 cases).
Bengaluru had the highest number of 89 cases. Shivamogga – 43 cases and Dakshina Kannada, 24 cases.
Of the 4,702 samples tested since January 2018; 400 cases tested positive for the respiratory infection.
Tamiflu is the antiviral drug being administered to those with fever and cold symptoms.
