59 buffaloes stuffed inhumanely within a truck rescued by Kota police

Kundapur: Kota police on Friday rescued 59 heads of cattle, while they were being illegally transported to Kerala.

The truck from Haryana was stopped for routine checking at Saibarakatte check post. Upon inspecting the police found that as many 59 buffaloes had been stuffed in an inhuman manner in the truck.

They arrested four persons, including truck driver and seized the vehicle.

The rescued buffaloes were shifted to Nilavar Goshala.

A case has been registered in this regard.
