Abu Dhabi bizman Ramdas Kamath donates Rs 15 lakh for Pilikula tiger cubs

Mangaluru: Abu Dhabhi-based businessman Ramdas Kamath and his wife Jayashri Kamath donated Rs 15 lakh to Pilikula Biological Park for construction of animal shelter for the newly-born tiger cubs.
Rani, a Royal Bengal tigress had earlier this year given birth to five cubs. Presently, the Pilikula park houses 13 tigers, including the five tiger cubs.
The Kamath couple happened to see the cubs during their visit to the park and donated Rs 15 lakh to construct an animal shelter for the cubs. They even assured of extending additional financial support for the park’s development.
The Park authorities have decided to name the cubs as suggested by the Kamath couple.
