ACB raids residences of corrupt officials in state

Bengaluru: ACB officials on Friday conducted surprise raids at residences of corrupt officials on Friday morning.
The raids were conducted simultaneously across 17 places in the state including Bengaluru, Chinthamani, Hunsur, Udupi, Mysuru, Davanagere, Chikkamagaluru, Karwar, Mangaluru.
Among those who came under the ACB scanner for amassing disproportionate assets included additional registration officer, R Sridhar, BBMP urban planning officer Besthappa, deputy director of the agriculture department of Davanagere, Hamsaveni, junior assistant of MUDA, K Mani and D Manjunathaiah, a reader at Mangalore University.
