Accused arrested for sexually harassing a teenage girl

Vitla: A person accused of sexually harassing a teenage girl has been nabbed by the police and presented to the court.

The girl was on her way home when the accused forcibly took her on his bike and tried to sexually assault her.

Victor (34) of Kanya Delantabettu is the accused and has been remanded to judicial custody. A POSCO case has been filed against him.

The accused is a married man who tailed the teenage girl, grabbed the girls hand and made her sit on his bike and after reaching a little far he tried to act immorally with the child. The frightened child jumped from the bike and ran towards her home and informed what happened. The girl however had no recognition of the person who assaulted her.

On February 24^th, the girl recognized the accused when he came on his bike near the school she attends. Immediately he was caught by the public and handed over to the police.
