Belagavi: In an accident, a lady is affirmed to have thrown acid on a youth for scrutinizing the misbehaviour of the Kapileshwar temple priest Rama Poojary.

The victim, Prathamesh has been admitted to the district government hospital and is undergoing treatment for the burns sustained from the acid attack.

The lady, Madhavi who happens to be Rama Poojary’s sister was maddened on the grounds that Prathamesh had a few times questioned priest’s misbehaviour towards the temple devotees. So to teach him a lesson she threw acid on Prathamesh near the temple premises.

Infuriated by the occurrence, local people attacked Rama Poojary. They even asserted that the priest’s son was involved in immoral activity.
