Bengaluru: Veteran actor-turned-politician Mukhyamantri Chandru will soon be joining the Aam Aadmi Party in Bengaluru.
Chandru is likely to join the party on June 7 in the presence of AAP State President, Prithvi Reddy at the Parag Hotel in the city.
In May 2022, Mukhyamantri Chandru resigned from the primary membership of Congress citing personal reasons.
Sources in Congress said Chandru was aspiring for a Rajya Sabha ticket and after the denial, he decided to part ways.
