After 145 days, actress Ragini Dwivedi released from jail

Bengaluru: Accuses in the Sandalwood drug case, actress Ragini Dwivedi, was released from the Parappana Agrahara jail here on Monday.

She is being released from jail four days after the Supreme Court granted bail to her on January 21.

After her name came up in the drugs case, Ragini’s house was raided by Central Crime Branch officials.

She was later arrested on September 4, 2020.

After the special court rejected her bail application on September 28, Ragini approached the High Court.

Later she approached the Supreme Court which granted her bail.

Ragini has come out of jail after 145 days.
