Akshata Shetty murder-attempt case: Court acquits both accused

The Additional District and Sessions Court of Kundapur has acquitted the accused, Santhosh Shetty and Prasad Shetty, in connection with the assault and murder attempt case of Akshata Shetty from Batrahadi, Gulwadi.

The incident, which occurred on May 20, 2019, led to a case being registered at Kundapur rural police station.

Advocate Handakunda Ashoka Shetty of Kundapur provided a compelling defense for the accused during the trial.

The acquittal marks the conclusion of a legal process that has spanned several years and brings a resolution to a tragic and closely watched case.
