Amit Shah and Uma Bharti’s Manipal visit cancelled

Manipal: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uma Bharti today have cancelled their hospital visit to inquire upon Shri Vishvesha Teertha Swamiji health due to security concerns. Swamiji was admitted to Manipal’s Kasturba hospital early on Friday morning in a severe health condition.
Both Shah and Bharti might visit after the curfew is lifted from the district.
Other state political dignitaries have already visited the hospital including Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa, Legislative Council member C. M. Ibrahim.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had inquired about the swamiji’s health over call. Chief Minister Yediyurappa and deputy chief minister Govind Karjol are stated to visit soon.
