Mumbai: The suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has triggered several discussions on nepotism and struggle faced by ‘outsiders’ in film industry.

A day after Singh’s suicide, film-maker Abhinav Singh Kashyap in a Facebook post termed all Talent Management Agencies of Bollywood as a potential death Trap for Artists. He also accused Salman Khan and his family – brothers Arbaaz and Sohail – of sabotaging his career.

In the midst of this actress Jiah Khan’s mother, Rabia Amin too has accused Salman Khan of sabotaging investigation into the suicide of her daughter Jiah Khan in order to protect Sooraj Pancholi.

Expressing condolence over Sushant’s demise, Rabia says that Bollywood needs to wake up and that bullying is akin to killing somebody.

In a video by SpotboyE, Rabia says that the CBI officer who was investigating her daughter’s suicide had commented that Salman Khan was calling him everday asking not to interrofate Pancholi.

In the video, Rabia says, the officer had called me to his office saying that he had found some evidence and when I land up over there, he says, ‘Oh, by the way, Salman khan calls me every day and says he has invested a lot of money, please don’t harass the boy, please don’t interrogate him, don’t touch him. So what can we do, madam’? He was annoyed, he looked frustrated.”

“If this is what is going to happen that you are going to pressurise and use your money and power to sabotage deaths and investigations, then I don’t know where we citizens can go to,” she added.

It may be recalled that Jiah committed suicide at her residence in Mumbai in 2013. A death note left by her spoke about her disturbed relationship with her alleged boyfriend Sooraj. Sooraj was charged with a case of abetment to actor Jiah Khan’s suicide in 2013.

Sooraj Pancholi debuted in the film ‘HERO’, which was Salman Khan’s second production venture post Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
