Youth injured in moral policing incident in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Another moral policing incident has been reported from the city. A group of youths reportedly assaulted and injured a college student who had been out with his friends on Friday evening.
According to the police complaint, two male students and four female students from a local college had been to the Panambur beach on Friday evening. While returning a group of youths followed them and gave a chase.
The group stopped the bike of one of the students near Bijai Kapikad and assaulted him.
A case has been registered based on the complaint filed by the injured youth at the Urwa police station.
