Army Diwas 2023: Parade to be held in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Next year’s Army Day parade will be held in Bengaluru on 15 January 2023.

The decision to hold Army Day parade in Bengaluru was confirmed by an Indian Army spokesperson.

So far the Army Day parade was traditionally held at Cariappa parade ground in Delhi cantonment marking the appointment of Lt Gen K M Carippa as the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army. Gen Cariappa later became India’s first Field Marshal.
