AY.4.2 variants: K’taka govt mulling re-imposing fresh COVID-19 curbs

In the wake of AY.4.2 lineage of the coronavirus being detected in Karnataka, the state government is reportedly mulling re-imposing fresh Covid-19 curbs.
It is gathered that State Minister for Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Sudhakar K will meet the Technical Advisory Committee today and later discuss the issue with CM Bommai.
