Bagalkot: Four youths killed in a car accident while returning from birthday party

Bagalkot: Four persons were killed when their car rammed into a stationary lorry near Bevinametti cross, Hunagunda, Bagalkot district

The incident took place when the victims were returning from Guledagudda after attending a birthday party

The deceased are identified as Chandrashekhar Butta (22), Naveen Saka (20), Chennabasava Anji (22) and Basavaraja Bhandari (33). All are residents of Illakal

The car driver Vinay Kumar Bandi was severely injured and has been admitted to a private hospital in Bagalkot. It is suspected that the car driver was drunk

Also, the lorry driver has fled from the scene and a case has been registered at Hunagunda Police station
