Mangaluru: Bajrang Dal on Saturday, October 9, held a nationwide protest against the heinous murder of seven civilians in the last five days in Kashmir.

Protests were held in all the district and taluk headquarters in Karnataka. They also burned the effigies of Pakistan and terrorists for its alleged role in sponsoring terrorism in India.

In Mangaluru, the protest was held under the Thokottu flyover, Kadri Mallikatte, Haleangady junction, Moodbidri bus stand and near Gurpur.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Friday had announced that the Bajrang Dal will hold a nationwide protest on Saturday.

The VHP said its youth wing Bajrang Dal is “hurt by the brutal killings of Hindus in Kashmir and will hold demonstrations across the country tomorrow and burn the effigy of terrorist Pakistan”.

“The Central government should teach a lesson to Pakistan to put a curb on jihadi terrorism. We know very well how to give a befitting reply to radical Jihadi terrorism. Every single worker of Bajrang Dal and VHP is ready for this,” VHP general secretary Milind Parande said in the statement.
