Bantwal: Bike-goods tempo collide head-on; Bike rider killed

Punjalkatte: A bike rider was killed in a road accident after the two-wheeler collided with a goods tempo at Kudmani minor bridge near Koyila in Bantwal taluk on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh Semita (32), son of Gunapala Semita, a resident of Barke, Tenka Mijaru.
Dinesh was moving towards Bantwal from Moodabidri when an oncoming good tempo moving towards Moodabidri collided head-on. He suffered head injuries and bled to death on the spot, sources said.
The Melkar traffic police inspected the spot and have taken up the investigation.
