A man in Kaikamba met with an unfortunate demise while repairing a dish antenna at the Holy Family hostel.
The man has been identified as Yatish (32), a resident of Acharipalke.
It is said that Yatish had been repairing the dish antenna when an unfortunate misstep caused him to plummet from the top floor.
He collided with the iron guardrail surrounding a well within the dormitory premises, resulting in a significant head injury.
As soon as the accident unfolded, social worker Samad Kaikamba promptly called upon the assistance of Nusrat Ambulance, provided by the Miladunnabhi Sangh, to transport Yatish to Father Muller Hospital in Kankanady.
However, despite the prompt response, Yatish’s injuries were too severe, and medical professionals at the hospital confirmed his untimely demise.
