Bantwal: Man jumps to death in canal from Panemangaluru bridge

Bantwal: A man committed suicide by jumping into a canal from the Panemangaluru Bridge, Bantwal on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Devappa Madiwala, a resident of Sajipamunnur, Bantwal. He was said to be a member of the management committee of the Sri Subrahmanya Temple, Mugulya.

Reason for the extreme step is yet to be known. A case has been registered.
