A man has been arrested on charges of sexual harassment of a minor boy in Kalladka.

The accused Mohammed Ashraf owns a hotel at Kalladka’s Vittal Road. On October 4, the accused tried to sexually assault the victim when he visited his hotel. When the boy resisted, Ashraf assaulted and threatened him.

Police said that Ashraf had sexually assaulted the minor on a previous occasion as well. The incident had taken place two months ago when the boy had been to his hotel for a food parcel. Ashraf had at that time asked the boy to come inside and later took him to a nearby farm where he assaulted him.
