Bengaluru: IGP and Additional Commissioner of Police Hemant Nimbalkar on Monday speaking about the lockdown extension in the state said that we might have won the battle but the war is ahead
Taking to Twitter Hemanth wrote, “On 14/4 tomorrow; 1st phase of #lockdown will be over & we enter the 2nd with lots of learnings & hope. We might have won the Battle But the War is Ahead! Let’s not be complacent as if we have defeated #COVID2019. Need to remain vigilant as ‘numbers’ are increasing day by day.”

So far, 232 COVID-19 cases, including six deaths, have been reported in the state.
As the 21-day lockdown is scheduled to end on April 14, the Centre is set to issue fresh instructions on whether the lockdown will be extended.
