BBMP identifies COVID-19 cluster in Bengaluru’s Thanisandra

Bengaluru: The BBMP on Monday declared an apartment in Bengaluru’s Thanisandra as a COVID-19 cluster after five members of a family and a domestic help tested COVID-19 positive after coming in contact with a relative.
The relative, who came from Tirupati, had a cold and he underwent the RT-PCR test which came back positive, BBMP Commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad said.
It is said that all six members have been hospitalized in a private hospital in Kalyan Nagar. So far 54 primary contacts and 150 secondary contacts have been tested, and all are negative
