Beltangady: Bizman found dead under suspicious circumstances

Beltangady: The dead body of a 54-year-old man, a resident of Belthangady was found inside the well located in his house premises here on Wednesday, August 12.

The deceased identified as Prakash Tulpule was a dealer of MRF Tyres and owned a showroom. He was an active member of Rotary Club and was involved with several social service activities.

On the day of the incident, Tulpule had returned home after business hours. Later he informed his daughter that he was going to the shed, located behind the house and return shortly.

However when his daughter came out she spotted Tulpule’s footwear near the well and raised an alarm. Tulpule was brought out of the well with help of locals and rushed to a hospital but he had passed away by then.

He is survived by mother, wife, a son and daughter. His family has said that he did not have any financial or family problems.

Police registered a case and are probing his death.
