Belthangady: Poisoning suspected in deaths of two young women

Two young women who were admitted to Narali Hospital in connection with stomach pain have died under suspicious circumstances.
The victims, identified as Lavanya (21) and Rakshita (22), were both admitted to the hospital but Rakshita died first, followed by Lavanya. It was later determined that they had been poisoned.
Following their deaths, authorities launched an investigation into the incident. Dharamsthala Police Station S.I. Anil visited the home of the deceased and collected information. According to reports, both women were former service representatives and were highly regarded in the community.
Lavanya had resigned from her post in March, while Rakshita did not continue in the service. The investigation is ongoing, and it is suspected that some incident occurred between the two women that led to their poisoning. The families of the victims are also unsure of what happened.
On Saturday, MLA Harish Poonja visited the home of the deceased Rakshita and Lavanya to offer condolences to the family.
