Belthangady: Several families urge the government to shift them out of the forest region

Belthangady: Fearing natural disasters, residents of Malavanthige village in Beltangady taluk are requesting the government to shift them out of the forest region.
It is said that the residents fear the monsoon scene as it causes harm to their houses and surroundings. Last year, the flash floods have inflicted huge loss to their agricultural land.
Over 16 families living here have been affected by natural disasters and are troubled by wild animals. The residents of three villages, Daipittila, Makki and Perla have asked government to relocate them
