Bengaluru: 26-year-old woman dies by suicide; husband arrested

Bengaluru: A man has been arrested and is being questioned after his 26-year-old wife allegedly died by suicide in Amrutahalli, Bengaluru.

The victim was Sangeeta (26), wife of Vinay, a resident of Veerana Palya. Sangeeta had known Vinay for four years and married him two years ago.

Vinay was reportedly harassing his wife over the issue of them not having children. Sangeeta committed suicide on Thursday, December 9 and purportedly left a note behind.

A case has been registered at  Amritahalli police station.
