Bengaluru: Drugs worth Rs 5 crores seized in 15 days, 10 peddlers arrested

Bengaluru: In its continued war against drug trafficking, the anti-narcotic wing of Bengaluru CCB police has seized drugs worth Rs 5.04 crores and has arrested 10 drug dealers from across the city in the last fortnight.
The seizures were carried out in the area of Kadugodi, K. R. Pura, Soladevanahalli, HSR Layout, White Field, Banasawadi, Parappana Agrahara Police Stations, police said.
Of the 10 drug peddlers arrested 8 were foreign nationals. The seized drug included 3.806 kg of MDMA crystals, 50 grams of cocaine, 25 ecstasy pills, 50 LSD strips, and other items, police added.
it is gathered that the peddlers procured drugs at low prices and sold them to college students, employees of IT-BT companies, and others on a huge markup to rake in profits.
