Bengaluru Lady Techie Seriously Assaulted by Group for Registering Case Against Cow Slaughter

Bengaluru: As many as 100 culprits reportedly attacked a lady at Tippu circle in Thalaghattapura in Bengaluru on Saturday night after she registered a police complaint against cow slaughter. The lady, senior techie and victim, Nandini works for an IT company in the state capital, sources said.

The incident occurred when Nandini and two police men arrived near a slaughter house at Tippu circle in Thalaghattapura to enquire cow slaughter after registering a complaint on the same. However, she was attacked by a group of people and injured seriously in the incident after two police constables were managed to escape from the spot when the mob began to attack them.

The assailants were reportedly shouted slogans favouring Pakistan while assaulting the victim. A case stands registered at Thalaghattapura police station on the incident.
