Bengaluru man arrested for misbehaving with flight attendant

A 28-year-old businessman from Bengaluru has been arrested for allegedly misbehaving with a cabin crew member on August 14, aboard a Kolkata-bound flight.
The man named, Sanjoy Kumar Yadav, a resident of Jigani boarded the flight at Kempegowda International airport in Bengaluru and allegedly harassed the air hostess before the takeoff.
The cabin crew informed that the incident took place when he was walking towards the toilet. In the complaint, the air hostess stated, “The toilet was occupied by someone else and he was waiting outside. I was standing near him and was busy with some work.”
Further adding, “He misbehaved with me and when I sought an explanation, he feigned innocence.”
When the cabin attendant brought the issue to her seniors’ notice, the accused was immediately deboarded from the aircraft.
A complaint has been registered with KIA police and Yadav has been booked under IPC section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty). He is currently in 14-day judicial custody.
