Bengaluru: Police shoot at history-sheeter after he attacks constable

Bengaluru: Bengaluru police shot a history-sheeter in the leg after he allegedly attacked a head constable with a long sword while trying to escape on Sunday.
The man is accused in four attempted murder cases. The cops have been looking for the history-sheeter for quite some time and eight warrants are pending against the accused. Recently a case under NDPS Act was registered in KG Nagar.
A team was formed under Police Sub Inspector Basavaraj Patil, as they had got information that he was in Konanakunte in Bengaluru.
After the accused didn’t surrender to a warning shot, Patil fired at his leg.
